Instruction will focus on:

Fundamentals

After the hit/bunt, the sprint to first, listening skills, run through, stealing, sliding, tagging up, hot-box and situations.

Mechanics

Take off, running technique and sliding technique.

Strength/Conditioning

Repetitive weighted and non-weighted drills.

Stretching

The body as a whole and the specific muscles being used.

Base Running in Progression

Base running skills such as sprint to first, sliding, stealing and tagging up.
